OUR TEAM

Metro Music Therapy was founded in late 2007 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We provide professional music therapy services in the metro Atlanta, GA area, and also offer recreation therapy and life skills coaching services to veterans and wounded warriors.

Mallory Even, LPMT, MT-BC
Owner & Director
Mallory Even, Owner of Metro Music Therapy, is originally from the Orlando, FL area, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the Florida State University. For two years before starting her practice, and for three years after, Mallory also worked as a music therapist in an adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatric unit located in Snellville, GA.
Maria Nichta, LPMT, MT-BC
Director of Outreach
Maria was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio (the East Side!). Despite her great love for Cleveland and all things Midwest, she moved down south and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC.
Laura Lenz, LPMT, MT-BC
Assistant Director
Laura is a transplanted Yankee, having grown up in Massachusetts and then ventured down south to the University of Miami in 1985. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy in 1989 and is proficient on flute, guitar, vocals and piano.

Camila Casaw, LPMT, MT-BC

Licensed Professional Music Therapist
Camila is originally from San José, Costa Rica. Although she misses her family and loves Costa Rica, the mountains, and believes the best coffee in the world is there, the opportunity of learning and joining the music therapy field has brought her to America, finding a home in every stop along the journey: first New Orleans and now Atlanta!
Kevin Middlebrooks, LPMT, MT-BC
Licensed Professional Music Therapist
Kevin has lived in the Atlanta area since 2006. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy at the University of Georgia in May 2017. Kevin’s principal instrument is piano, and he is also proficient on guitar and voice.

Amy Baker, MT-BC

Licensed Professional Music Therapist
Amy is originally from Albany, Georgia. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Georgia, she completed her internship at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care in Burlington, Massachusetts, where she worked with both patients and families during and after end-of-life care.
Justin Sant, MA, LPMT, MT-BC
Licensed Professional Music Therapist
Justin has spent many years using music therapy to work with a variety of populations including incarcerated teens, adults & children with intellectual and developmental delays, and patients in detox & acute psychiatric settings.
