Merideth McClain, a West Virginia native, brings a unique, creative spirit to the Metro Music Therapy team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Merideth completed her internship with Metro Music Therapy where she had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations including clients experiencing grief and loss, special needs, traumatic brain injuries, and veterans to name a few!
During her internship, Merideth was able to start a music therapy group at the Exceptional Foundation of Atlanta and be a part of a veteran’s songwriting retreat in Nashville, TN. Merideth is extremely passionate about the field of music therapy and giving a voice to the voiceless. She considers it a privilege to work alongside all clients and families as a Metro Music Therapy team member.
